THE BEST PRODUCT VIDEOS

How do you make product videos work for your marketing?

In the words of David Ogilvy "we sell or we die" and if you have a niche product or you are selling a new product then it is down to selling to an audience directly and video does this effortlessly.

Product Video Benefits: If we as companies or individuals can sell ourselves directly and quickly to those who matter the most to us then the business of selling is very meaningful. Why? Because products stack up in warehouses and manufacturing lines if we don't sell directly to those who actually need something the most.

Product Video Reviews:

Tricks to product videos: This could be easy or hard depending on how you make the most of your assets. One asset that can't be ignored is Social TV. Today, if you can produce a good product video outlining your key product values with your target audience in mind, then you can share this video directly and instantly to those online who matter the most (example: Dollar Shave Club)

Product Video Hints: Social TV is everywhere that an audience exists online and if you can understand where your audience exists then you should make it your business goal to be the most social of video content in these relevant searches and impactful social neighbourhoods.

The Perfect Product Video: The best product video should be friendly and familiar to the target audience online. It should always carry recommendations within the video and ideally provide a solution to a rising popular (potentially seasonal) issue that your target audience might need or welcome products around.

The Future of Product Videos?: The future may be for brands to make more out of their peer to peer product recommendations using product videos as an essential catalyst in forming peer reactions, shares, likes, reviews, comments, posts e.t.c.

A good example of this is Zappo's new Tweet wall that makes shopping overall more social by making it easy to browse and discover product videos through the curation of a real time wall of peer to peer (or staff) product Tweets.
