PICK ME UP DESIGN FESTIVAL 2013


On Friday 19th April 2013, I had the pleasure of attending 'Pick Me Up', a festival for contemporary graphic arts, design and illustration. The festival was started in 2010 and has been going strong since. Hosting everything from workshops and galleries, to late-night parties and hip pop-up shops, Pick Me Up is a hotbed of the trendiest modern culture.

IAB VIDEO ON DEMAND EVENT


This week we attended an event at the IAB UK on Video on Demand. A variety of agencies presented from Tremor Video to Videology, as well as Virgin Media and YouTube, all discussing the issues and opportunities surrounding Video on Demand, particularly around incremental reach.




OUR LATEST PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES

 

Last week Adjust Your Set spent three days down at Spectrecom Studios near Waterloo, filming staff and customer testimonials for one of our clients.

Lighting was everything on this shoot - we shot against a white infinity cove which we backlit softly to create a subtle vignette on the subject. We also used two 4ftx4ft Kino Flos (an Adjust Your Set favourite!) on either side to achieve lighting that was clean and flattering.

At the end of February, Adjust Your Set together with Bailey Fisher Executive Search, hosted a Women 4 Technology event on the Future of Content Marketing. What inspired this event was the Adjust Your Set 2013 content marketing predictions book we produced.
